Kate has taught children and adults at several institutions, including private lessons in clay and drawing in her studio. “As I focus on the surface of a drawing, I stay in a place beneath my conscious mind, allowing unexpected imagery to unfold. I’m compelled to make the shapes in my drawings appear full of movement, as if the wind is sweeping through or water is finding its way. This rhythm reflects my desire to keep the land alive with pulse and life force.”
